Sometimes, Dr. Kim will combine these procedures to achieve the most favorable results.
What can I expect post-operatively?
Dr. Kim and staff will provide you with detailed instructions on post-operative care. You may experience some initial swelling and bruising, but this can be alleviated by keeping your head elevated and applying cold compresses to the affected area. Dr. Kim may prescribe pain medication for you. Most patients recover from this surgery in about a week. Any strenuous activity should be avoided for a period of about three weeks. For several months following this surgery, you must avoid prolonged exposure to the sun.
